and Ninilchik has finally began to produce some large halibut.
This week some lucky fisherman caught a 398 pound halibut

The Russian river is slow but the second
run of Sockeye
has began to surge towards the Russian and should arrive
around the 15th. The rainbow trout fishing has been excellent
on the upper Kenai.
