Game Stuffed Cabbage Rolls |
| Recipe Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb. Ground Moose burger, cooked
- 1/2 lb. Italian or Country Style Sausage, cooked
- 2 1/2 cups Rice, cooked
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1 Purple Onion, diced
- 1 Lg. Jar Red Pasta Sauce
- 1 Med. Head Cabbage
- 2 Lg. Eggs, whisked
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 Jalapeno, diced (optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste

| Recipe Preparation:
In a large bowl mix together rice, meat, egg, onion,
jalapeno, butter, salt and pepper and 3 tbsp. pasta sauce.
Combine ingredients well. In a large pot bring head of
cabbage to a simmer and begin removing leaves and stuffing
them with rice mixture. Secure leaves by rolling once,
fold ends in, roll again, place stuffed leaves in a lightly
greased baking dish (fill bottom of dish with stuffed
leaves). Pour remaining sauce over top of stuffed cabbage
leaves and add bay leaves. Cover and bake 30 minutes (at
350 degrees) then uncover and bake another 15-30 minutes
or until cabbage leaves are tender. Garnish with Parmesan
cheese. |
