Moose Steaks Recipe |
| Recipe Ingredients:
- 4 Moose Steaks, 1 in. thick
- 1 Onion Slice, cut in half
- 1 sm. Carrot, chopped
- 4 tbsp. Ketchup
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 cup Sweet Pickle Juice
- 1 tsp. Parsley
- 1 clove Garlic,chopped fine
- Salt & Pepper to taste

Recipe Preparation:
Use a 2 quart baking dish. Place steaks in dish and season
with salt and pepper. Place a slice or two of garlic,
a dollop of butter and several onion pieces on each steak,
cover with a tbsp. of ketchup. Pour pickle juice in dish
(not over steaks), add carrots and remaining onion and
garlic. Season with parsley. Cover and bake for 35-45
minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Remove cover and
bake an additional 10-15 minutes. Add additional juice
during baking if needed. |
