Tangy Side Stripe Shrimp Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs. Side Stripe Shrimp, cooked/peeled
  • 3 cups Olive Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Lemon, quartered
  • 3/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Green Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Celery, minced
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. Horseradish
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 2 tsp. Salt or to taste
  • Lettuce Leaves

Recipe Preparation:

In a medium mixing bowl add eggs, paprika, salt and mustard; slowly add oil and beat until thick. Add vinegar and squeeze lemon juice out of wedges (add wedges too!). Add remaining ingredients except shrimp. Place mixture in refrigeration for 6 - 12 hours. Before serving remove bay leaves and lemon wedges. Line a medium serving bowl with lettuce leaves and pour mixture into bowl. Arrange shrimp around the edge of your serving bowl add more as needed.
