Spicy Lime Halibut Fillets Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2-4 small Halibut Fillets
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 doz. Tomatillos, chopped
  • 3 Jalapeno's, chopped
  • 4 tbsp. Lime Juice
  • 2 tbsp. Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. Cream Cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp. Sour Cream
  • 1/4 tsp. Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. Tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. White Pepper

Recipe Preparation:

Cook onions and tomatillos until tender (about 10 minutes) then add to a food processor along with oil, lime juice, water, jalapeno's, garlic, herbs and seasonings; process until well blended. Mix together sour cream and softened cream cheese and add an equal amount to the top of each fillet. Place fillets in a baking dish and cover with mixture. Add enough water to cover the bottom of the baking dish, cover and bake for 10 minutes per inch of thickness at 350 degrees.
