Cured Fish Eggs - Non Edible! |
| Recipe Ingredients:
- 5 lbs. of Borax, 4 oz. boxes
- 2, 1 lb. boxes of Salt
- 2 packages Jello, Strawberry, 6 oz. packs

| Recipe Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a container that is longer than
the roe. Flour each piece of roe on both sides in the
mixture. Place flat in a container so they do not curl
up. Let set for a few hours until they make brine. Remove
from brine, place on screen to dry and glaze. Don't leave
them too sticky or they won't stay on the hook. Be sure
to use them immediately or freeze in pint containers with
lids for future use.
