Oriental Lemon Shrimp Recipe |
| Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 lb. Side Stripe Shrimp, cooked
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
- 1 cup Celery, sliced
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Green Pepper, Sliced thin
- 1/4 cup Green Onion, diced
- 1 small can Water Chestnuts
- 1 cup Water
- 3 tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp. Cornstartch
- 2 tbsp. Oil
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp. Chicken Bouillon
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Lemon Zest

Recipe Preparation:
In a medium bowl combine water, sugar, cornstartch, bouillon,
salt and pepper. Stir well, add lemon juice and zest then
set aside. Heat oil in a large skillet, add green peppers,
celery and onion; cook for 3 minutes. Add water chestnuts,
mushrooms, and peas; fry for 2 minutes. Remove vegetables
from skillet, add shrimp to skillet and fry until done.
Add lemon mixture to shrimp cook 1 to 2 minutes then add
vegetables to skillet. Stir well. |
