Buttered Salmon Recipe
- 1.5 - 2 lbs. Wild Salmon Fillets or Steaks
- 1/2 cup Butter, softened
- 1/4 cup Cilantro, fresh
- 2 lg. (or more) Jalapenos, seeds removed
- 3 lg. cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp. Parmesean Cheese
- 1/4 tsp. Ginger, fresh, minced
- Salt & Pepper to taste
This recipe is made quickly and easily in a small food
processor or you can finely mince items by hand if necessary.
Start by placing jalapenos, cilantro, garlic and ginger
in a small food processor and mix until well combined,
next add parmesean cheese and process until mixed well.
Place contents of processor into a small bowl and add
softened butter, stir until well blended. Reserve 1/2
of jalapeno butter for later use (keep chilled). Spread
the remaining 1/2 of jalapeno butter on salmon fillets
and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. On a medium
grill, cook fillets for 3-5 minutes per side (or until
fish flakes easily with a fork) and serve with a small
dallop of chilled reserve jalapeno butter.
