Chipped Caribou Breakfast Recipe |
| Recipe Ingredients:
- 4 slices Bread, toasted
- 1/4 lb. Dried Caribou Meat, chipped/shredded
- 2 cups Milk
- 4 Eggs, hardboiled
- 1/2 cup Cream
- 1/8 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 1/2 tbsp. Butter
- 3 tbsp. Flour
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper

| Recipe Preparation:
In a large sauce pan, melt butter over low heat. In a
small bowl combine milk and flour, mix well and add to
butter. Fill a large bowl with boiling water and pour
dried chipped caribou meat into a strainer and submerge
in water for 2 minutes. Remove from water and drain well.
Add meat to sauce. Dice hardboiled eggs and blend well
into sauce. Serve sauce over toasted bread. |
