- 1 lb. Venison, Elk, Caribou, Moose Steak, cubed
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 4 oz. can Green Chilies, chopped
- 4 oz. can Mushrooms, chopped
- 1/2 can Refried Beans
- 1/2 cup Red Pepper
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Sprinkle salt and pepper on steak cubes and coat with
flour. Brown cubes in oil then add onion, chilies and
chopped pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Next add mushrooms and 1 tbsp. flour, stir thoroughly.
Add refried beans and enough water to make gravy. Simmer
for 15 minutes and serve with flour tortillas or over
