Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. Caribou Round Steak
- 16 oz. can Tomatoes, diced
- 8 oz. can Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Celery
- 1 cup Water
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 1 clove Garlic, diced
- 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Flour - 3/4 cup water mixture
- 2 tsp Salt

Recipe Preparation:
Cut caribou steaks into strips and brown in oil using
a dutch oven (or large cast iron pan with lid). Add onion,
celery, garlic and then saute until transparent. Next
add soy sauce, salt and water; cover and cook on low heat
for about an 1 hour. Add mushrooms, tomatoes and flour
mixture and cook for an additional 15 minutes. |
