Wild Blueberry Pie |

Recipe Ingredients:
- 3 cups Wild Alaska Blueberries
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water (for blueberries)
- 2 tbsp. Cornstarch
- 2/3 cup Water for Cornstarch
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 Pie Shell, 9 inch, baked

Recipe Preparation:
Mix blueberries, sugar, cinnamon and half a cup of water.
Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until berries
pop and make juice (about 10 minutes). Stir the cornstarch
into 2/3 cup of water, removing all lumps. Slowly stir
cornstarch mixture into berries. Continue to simmer, stirring
constantly, until mixture thickens (3-8 minutes). Pour
into the cooked pie shell and chill for 30 minutes before
serving. |
