Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe |
| Recipe Ingredients:
- 6 Green peppers
- 2 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup crab, drained/cooked
- 1/4 Cup salad shrimp, cooked
- 1/4 Cup clams, cooked
- 1/2 Cup onion, chopped
- 3/4 Cup celery, chopped
- 1 Cup soft bread crumbs
- 2 Med. eggs, beaten
- 1/4 Tsp. Salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1/4 Cup mozzarella, shredded

| Recipe Preparation:
Cut out centers of green peppers and remove core and
seeds. Simmer peppers in boiling salted water for 6-8
minutes or until almost tender. Drain peppers. In a medium
skillet fry bacon until crisp, add onions, and celery
and cook until celery becomes tender. Add bread crumbs
and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Add eggs, seasonings
and meat. Mix well. Fill pepper shells with mixture and
sprinkle with cheese on the top. Bake peppers in hot oven
(400 degrees) for 20 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 6 servings. |
